This last week we lost a glimpse of sunshine in our lives.  My sweet, beautiful, funny, fun, and very special Aunt Amy passed away very unexpectedly.  I loved her so much, and she had so much love for everyone she met and whose lives she was apart of.  She had her own struggles in life, but I am so happy to know she is at peace now.  Losing someone so close to me has helped me realize how important it is to show the ones you love how much you care every chance you get.  I love you Amy.  I'm so grateful we had this lunch date just a few short weeks ago.
What I'm Wearing:
Dress: J.Crew
Sweater: J. Crew
Belt: Anthropologie (seen here)
Shoes: Old Navy (thanks Elaine :))
On a lighter note, TT told me he doesn't really like "chunky" belts.  I know this from another time I wore a rather large red leather belt, which truly was adorable with a navy blue dress.  He doesn't have many requests with my wardrobe, but I have been reminded he doesn't love big belts.  I can kind of see where he's coming from, if worn incorrectly large belts can be a true eye sore.  Maybe I'm wearing mine wrong and just don't know.  If I am, please don't tell me.
Downtown Salt Lake is definitely in bloom!

I am so sorry about your Aunt... Ali told us the news after she saw your family at Porcupine. Hope your mama is doing okay. Loves...

ReplyDeleteThe belt looks perfect on you - sometimes guys don't understand girls clothing so if you love it, keep wearing it! Thats a lovely dress btw :)

ReplyDeleteI love orange and it looks fabulous with the navy and the wide belt. I agree that sometimes guys don't understand fashion for women. My husband doesn't like cropped pants, but I still wear them and he doesn't complain (much).

ReplyDeleteHi, sorry to hear the sad news about your aunt. I've been in Madrid the past few days visiting a friend I hadn't seen in 5 years. She has had a lot of sadness in her life since we last met - she's lost her dad and brother to cancer. Hearing news like this makes me so grateful for the family and friends in my life and reminds me to cherish the time we have with our loved ones.
ReplyDeleteSarah xx
