lace and bf jeans.

What I'm Wearing: Shirt-Free People, BF Jeans-Banana Republic, Clogs-Uggs, Bag-LV

Anyone who reads this blog occasionally is probably wondering why the last 1982731987 posts I've had the exact same jeans on.  They're my favorite for starters, and they're fabulous weekend jeans.  And the majority of my pictures that I post on this blog are taken on the weekend.  So there you have my explanation.  I clearly understand why they are called boyfriend jeans, they're so comfortable.
So this bag.  It's a real Louis Speedy bag. I love it, and I haven't worn it for the longest time.  I got this bag on a dreamy trip I took with a good friend in California.  I can't lie, this bag made me nervous for the first little bit.  But I love it and it's very roomy inside.  And favorite crossover purse is sometimes too small.

Happy October!  My mom gave me some super fun Halloweeny gifts for our place.  And today while we were at TT's parents, his mom gave us some too!  Now our place won't look so dull during the Halloween holidays.  Also - please someone help me decide what TT and I should be for Halloween. I have no ideas.
Let the month of candy begin.

Shoulder Pads.

What I'm Wearing: Shirt-Nordstrom, BF Jeans-Banana Republic, Shoes-Charles by Charles David

I feel like I'm channeling my inner "Betty" with this outfit.  I love this outfit, and I know it's very different, and very unlike a lot of what I usually wear.  As we were headed to my parents for dinner, TT asked me if I needed my helmet since I was wearing shoulder pads. I think I know how he feels about this shirt.

This weekend we went up to Park City, had a wonderful dinner with friends, we worked, I attended the Relief Society Broadcast with my mom and sister, went out for shakes, grocery shopped, went to church, ate dinner at my parents, took EVC to see the horses, visited with TT's family on the back patio under a beautiful sunset, and spent some quality time with our pup.  It was fabulous.

I have to ask, what are your thoughts on shoulder pads/shoulder pointed jackets etc.?

my military jacket.

Yay for FALL!!
What I'm Wearing: Jeans- Seven Skinny Boot Cut, T- J.Crew, Military Jacket-Old Navy

With TT buried in study sessions, group projects, research, tests, and everything else that comes with a full load of school, we currently don't see each other until the sun is set, and it's almost dark out.  As much as I would have liked to really take time to take these outfit shots, (everything I'm wearing in these photos are all "go to" pieces for me) the only chance was at the end of the day.  I don't feel like I look my best at the end of the day. Oh well. I'm so excited for fall season!  My mom surprised me today with some incredibly fun fall decorations for our place, and some delicious soup.  Did I mention I love fall?

Fall.

I love fall season. Saturday, we went 4-wheelin' up in the mountains to see a beautiful overlook of the valley with many different colors.  It was absolutely beautiful, and quickly put me "fall mode".  Chunky sweaters, skinny jeans, boots, and in not too long we'll be needing our big chunky scarves too. I say yes to chunky, as long as we're talking about clothes.

Here come mom and dad.

the twins.

Also, more outfit posts coming shortly.  I'm very excited about them too!  We had a wonderfully busy weekend, and enjoyed every minute of it.  Even the moment where I put my phone on top of my car just as TT and I were heading down the canyon to meet up with some friends.  And then the part where it fell of the top of the car, and into the hands of a very nice man who called TT's phone several hours later to calm my fears, and let me know my phone was safe.  So kind of him.

Grand California

Friday morning TT, Adam and I flew down to California to meet up with my family, and waited for the twinners to arrive Friday night.  Sunday afternoon we were back at the airport, making our way back home.  It was a quick trip, but it was a perfect trip.  We ate lots of delicious treats along the way in Disneyland and Grand Californian, including pickles, gourmet cookies, caramel apples, amazing Coca Cola, and hot chocolate.  With a met Mickey and Minnie this trip, shopped in Downtown Disney, were introduced to Vinylmations, and got to take EVC on lots of rides and anticipate her reactions.  She loves Disneyland.  Who doesn't?

We love Mickey.
Mickey apparel is fun to wear in the park!
Enjoying the "pea pups"

We spent plenty of time competing on Buzz Lightyear, watching and waiting for World of Color, debating which Vinlymation boxes to pick, getting stuck on Splash Mountain and walking off the ride, talking Fantasy Football, enjoying Dad take EVC to play in Goofy's House, Captain EO, pushing Tirbs around, and muching on Chieftan Chicken Skewers. Can't wait to see the images from my mom's camera!

Crew.

As you can see, on our adventure with Crew, our dog, I kept it casual.  Labor Day weekend was glorious.  We were able to spend the weekend with my family up in Midway, relaxing, swimming, running, walking, playing football, and eating good food.  Doesn't get much better. I took a few pictures of Crew this weekend.  We love him.

Out to Eat.

Last week, I had a couple days off.  We went to one of my favorite Mexican hot spots for lunch.  It was glorious.
