Seattle in the Morning

My mom and I got up early in Seattle, and took me down to the market, where I could take pictures while it was empty, each day the market filled with people, and it was so crowded, and difficult to take any pictures.

Lowells for breakfast.  Two mornings in a row. It is a must.

A Weekend In Seattle

What originally started out as a girls trip (me, my mom, sister, and the babe) turned into a fabulous weekend getaway with the girls, my dad and twin brothers.  I can't believe we even considered originally being gone over my dad's birthday, and since the twins are moving back down to the Y this week for another semester of college, we were all able to meet down in the fabulous city of Seattle.  I've loved it ever since the movie. As you can see, I kept it casual.  Very casual.  It was great, because we walked lots and lots and heaps.

I kept it real....casual.
I can't even tell you how comfortable I was, and how much my feet never hurt. I love my tennis shoes.   I can't wait to share all of my favorite things we saw, and did, and shopped.
Let's all go to Seattle. Now!

TT and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary today.  August 11, 2009 we were married downtown Salt Lake in the Salt Lake Temple.  I can hardly believe it's been a year... time flies.  Today I decided would be a great day to finally change my name.  I just wanted to make sure the first year would go well before I went through the hassel of getting everything legally changed...joke.  I've been meaning to do it, it sadly took a whole year to get done.  I spent the morning with my mom who helped me get everything changed and we celebrated by meeting family for lunch, and then got a mani/pedi, which was also much needed (thank you! -you're the bomb!).

I love stripes... as seen here, here, and here and even here.
Came home to these along with some very thoughtful gifts.  I can't wait for this to arrive soon, and I love my new hand weights too (I've been using cans of Betty Crocker frosting for my workouts at home).  We ate dinner downtown, at one of our favorite/memorable restaurants.  So yum.  We stopped at the park after dinner, mostly to help my stomach digest all the food....

Hahaha... man can't catch his own dog. Went on for so long...
Such a wonderful day!

Dirt On My Shoes

We went 4-wheelin' with my family this past weekend.  We found our way to Cascade Springs, and then up through some trails to get an overlook of Park City, Deer Valley, and Midway.  Sooo fun!
