Buttoned or Unbuttoned? That is the question.

I don't really know what to say here, other than this was a very comfortable outfit to wear to school.  As much as I love heels, I love comfort even more!  I have even considered getting some Privos to wear at work!  Between class and work today, TT and I grabbed a bite to eat at one of the local favorites in Salt Lake for Mexican food.  The only downfall to eating Mexican -- I always feel like I gained an instant 5lbs. I hate the bloat. That's honesty.

What do you think? Buttoned or unbuttoned?  This was a super-layered outfit, and normally I just wear that silk shirt on its own.  The cold weather has forced the layers out of me.  See that ginormous piece of fabric hanging over the post?  That's my purple coat from H&M.  I wish it was somehow reversible because I love the inside too!
What I'm wearing:
Silk printed shirt: Anthropologie
Cardigan: Anthropologie
Jeans: Seven For All Mankind (first time I've ever worn them with flats...it was tough)
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack - Christmas present from TT. Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised.

I buttoned and unbuttoned my sweater probably five times throughout the day, I couldn't decide which looked better (more flattering).  I think I decided to leave it unbuttoned.  Maybe I should save the shirt for a more dressy outfit?

Thanks for reading Fresh!

That outfit is exactly why blue jeans will forever be a fashion staple - they're a great background canvass for a wonderful shirt and cardigan ensemble!

I like the relaxed look of the outfit when it's unbuttoned.

haha i never know whether or not to button up my cardigans or not. i usually go with unbuttoned since it gives it a more casual look. that silk shirt is so gorgeous :)

p.s. and trust me, i'm quite swollen. i was just covering up the swollen cheek with the ice pack haha :P

Buttoned for warmth...unbuttoned for sitting/indoors. ;-) Honesty.

Great outfit...love the cardi. I say go buttoned, though...looks a little more finished.

Oh, and to answer your question, I always just copy and past the pound symbol...I have no idea how to type it!

I really love it both ways...buttoned and unbuttoned. It looks very cute!

Personally, I prefer unbuttoned - I always wear mine that way! Sometimes buttoned can feel too stuffy, and make you feel like a sausage (weird, I know, but I've felt like that myself sometimes). Unbuttoned just seems more playful!! :)

ey, thanks for dropping by my blog...
and leaving that sweet comment!

i love ur jeans...i've always loved jeans that's faded and worn...
and yes, always comfort more than style...but i'm not saying i won't sacrifice a bit for fashion though... so ironic of me!hehe.

I like it unbuttoned:) PS: I LOVE your hair in these pictures! And can we really go winter clothes shopping?! I would love your opinion and advice!

I like the structure that buttoning the cardigan gives it, but i love the pattern of the top uncovered, so perhaps unbuttoned with a skinny belt at the waist?
