Black To School

There is nothing super stylish or up-to-date-with-current-fashion about this outfit.  It's just black.   Sometimes when I'm not really sure of what to wear it's really easy for me to grab black.  Why is that?

I wanted to add a little color, and instead of choosing a big necklace, I chose the belt.  Maybe I could've done both.  The shoes I personally love.  They are BCBG, purchased about 6 months ago, and this is the 2nd time I've worn them! That's a direct correlation with the height of the shoes.

And also, I'd like to welcome home my little big twin brothers who have recently returned from their missions!  Daniel served in Taiwan and Stephen in Mexico City.  It's been two years since I've seen them! Welcome Home!

On an opposite note:  I want some white jeans.  You might think that's the worst idea ever, but I want some.  I don't have any, and so often I see them worn so fashionably!  Any suggestions where I might get some?

Hope everyone had a wonderfully fresh day!

great all black outfit, i like the touch of the blue belt.

as for white jeans - i've been wanting some too, but i've been afraid they'd get so dirty so easily lol. but maybe you'd find some at H&M, club monaco, or white house|black market?

it seems like when you don't know what to wear, you just can't fail with all black. and you wear it so well by adding that pop of color with your blue belt :) and you have such a lovely family!

megan darling,

so i just barely happened upon your littly bloggity even though you left me a comment from this site months & months ago (which i somehow just barely discovered?)

i'm so lame sometimes..sorry, sorry.

i'll definitely be checking back in to see what you're wearing- the all black is fab. but i do have to ask, heels to school- for real? you are wonder woman...i would never. i love heels with a passion, but i don't step foot on campus in anything other than a wedge, flat or a slouchy boot.

with that said, rocking stilletos to school is awesome & you deserve some serious applause. kudos to you, lady.

keep in touch, please...are you at the u?

loving the black! Oh and I've got a couple of leather jackets but they're both fake. A great affordable alternative, and if you look around you can find some quite real looking ones :)

Black never fails! And I love that you added the bright pop of color from the belt. That's so exciting both of your brothers are home!! Your parents must be ecstatic!

Pssst... I want white jeans too! I just hate shopping for jeans...
