Caught in an alley way

This morning before work, my mom and I had a little play date.  We went and met with my wedding photographer to get images and choose an album.  Note to future brides: wedding stuff doesn't end once you're back from your honeymoon (there's thank you cards, which of course are important, returning 5 toasters and 8 spice racks, organizing all your new stuff, and almost six months later, i'm revisiting all my wedding proofs to make an album).  Don't get me wrong, it's great.  Anyway we went downtown to meet with him, got diet cokes, and walked in and out of stores talking talking talking.

What I'm wearing:
Jacket: TopShop (got it in London on study abroad)
Striped T: Juicy
Shoes: Nordstrom, and so worn I can't see the maker any longer

We have a family picture on Sunday.  I'm really not sure what to wear. It will be after church, so mostly everyone will be dressed up!

Should I dress more classy in black? Or should I do a fun springy look?  What would you wear?

Love your look and that bag is fabulous.
As a recent married, I totally get what you mean -- the first few months were still a little chaotic after the wedding. I swear the thank you cards took at least a month!

I don't think you realise how great you look! I love the hues of this outfit so so much :)

Oh and thanks for the sweet comment, you are a darling. I will definitely be visiting every day so watch out!

In answer to your question; wear whatever you're comfortable in. Do you know what the others are planning on wearing? It's great to all wear the same, or at least neutral tones so the stand out feature is your smiles :D

You'll have to upload it when you get a copy! I can't wait to see xx

I would do black but that's only because I have a lot of dark neutral colors... Don't forget to post your outfit up!!! I wanna see! :)

And I LOVE the purse!! What brand is it?

Your shoes look so comfy too!

I always assume that when you want to look nice, you go for black - which means that everyone else will also be wearing black - So I would opt for something colorful!

Love your bag!

Wow, that is one darling purse! Your entire outfit is lovely. I bet you had a great day with your mom. I have heard that wedding stuff goes beyond the wedding. I bet its still fun though to do little errands like that.

You are so lovely... I love the browns in your ensemble.

What would I wear in a family pic? I am a photographer so I advice my clients to come in coordinated like if they want to do blacks or spring. It'll look better in the pic if the whole family is coordinated. xoxo

What a fun day!!!! The alley was the best choice!!!!
Colors for Sunday!!! I liked the comment about being in neutral so we could see the smiles. But remember that all the guys will probably be in white shirts and ties!!! Had a great Mother Daughter hour!!!!!

Nice outfit :) Love the denim jacket :)

I think you should wear a little black dress and spice it up with accessories and really gorgeous shoes. That'll be really nice :)

Cute outfit! For me, as soon as spring arrives, I ditch my neutrals & go for color, florals & prints! By this time, I'm sick of wearing black, gray, white, and dark colors. Spice it up!!! xx.

Those shoes are spectacular! I both love and hate when you wear shoes so much that the bottom starts to erode away- they are perfect with that outfit- very lovely!
