Watch It.
I've been wanting to try out the hoodie and blazer look that J.Crew has shown in so many of their catalogs lately. So this is my rendition.
Jacket/Blazer: Topshop 60 pounds (how do I do the sign for the pound, anyone?)
Hoodie: Target $8
T: Target $6
Watch: gifted from my Dad, straight from eBay. It's one of my favorites. It's a mens watch, so it has an extra big face, which I love!
I found this watch when I was cleaning/organizing my room this morning! Yes, good job me! Isn't it just the best when you find stuff you weren't even looking for?? I love it! I couldn't decide if I should have my hair up or down, and if I should have kept this jacket buttoned or not. This outfit didn't turnout exactly like I had pictured it too, but it came to me in the shower about 5 minutes before I absolutely needed to get dressed. I need to start thinking about this a little sooner. What do you think?

opi nail polish color "sheer the toys" and tweezerman tweezers!!
To all my Fresh readers, it's time for a giveaway! The FIRST GIVEAWAY to be exact. This is coming from me to you!! As it's my first personal giveaway, it is also a simple (yet very lovely) one! GOOD LUCK!
This O P I nail color "Sheer" Your Toys is one of the most stylish colors as we crawl our way into Spring. It's somewhat neutral, but has a little shimmer to it. I have my own bottle, and absolutely love it! So will you.
I've always said, a good manicure is one of the BEST accessories to go with ANY outfit!
And yes, well tweezed brows are my next favorite accessory for any girls (or guys for that matter) face. If you could see my own brows right now you'd probably scream. Tweezerman tweezers are the BEST!!!!
How it works: On Sunday January 10th at 8pm the giveway ENDS. At that time I will RANDOMLY AND VERY FAIRLY PICK THE WINNER.
All you have to do is the following:
1. Leave a comment, and tell me the NAME of your favorite nail polish color
2. Follow this blog
Simple Enough, right? And if you feel so inclined, link my blog to yours!
As this is a newer blog, your chances of winning this giveaway are AWESOME!! So don't be shy, you're chances are great! Thanks for reading Fresh!

my picks: In 2010
Here are my picks for the 10 fashion necessities coming into 2010. The categories are as follows: ankle booties, round sunglasses, boyfriend jeans, tailored blazers, brightly colored coats, chunky knit sweaters, embellished flats, platform pumps, wide-leg pants, and pencil skirts.
I hope you enjoyed my picks for fun accessories as we enter 2010! What would YOU pick? I'd love to see! And also, stay tuned for the upcoming blog giveaway right here at Fresh Brownies! Thanks for reading!
The Ankle Bootie
my pick: the Seychelles Bootie from Nordstrom
why: I love the idea of an open boot, especially if I'm wearing tights. It can spice up the entire outfit. Plus I love the brand, Seychelles is affordable (comparably), and comfortable! $109
Round Glasses
my pick: Armani Shades from Nordstrom.
*If I were really daring, and one day I will be, my next prescription glasses will come in frames like the ones on to the right.
why: I chose these glasses because I like the tint, they're not really dark. I love the print on the frames. These were also surprisingly more affordable than I thought they would be at $78.
The Boyfriend Jean
my pick: J Brand Boyfriend Jean. I think this is the perfect shade for a boyfriend cut.
why:I love the way the cuff hits, and the fact that there are not too many tears along the pants. *and i love the shoes* A little more pricy at $224 - has anyone seen similar ones for cheaper?
The Blazer
my pick: Gap Heather Blazer in grey.
why: I have actually tried this jacket on in the store, and it was so comfortable. With a little bit of cotton/terry material it wears similar to a sweatshirt or hoodie, with the style of a blazer. You can dress this up or leave it casual. $59
The Brightly Colored Coat
my pick: The North Face Crimptastic Hybrid Jacket.
why: I'm going to be practical, I live in Salt Lake City. While this coat may not be as fashionable as others, it's warm! I love North Face coats, and already have too many in my closet. This also shows the sportier side in me. I love sporty clothes, a tom-boy at heart. North Face stuff hardly ever goes on sale, and is always on a wee bit more expensive than competitve brands. $229
Chunky Knit Sweater
my pick: This Beauty from brownfashion.com
why: umm hello, how great does this look? I wish the price looked half as good. Has anyone seen something similar to this piece at all? Until then I'll just dream about this one. (seriously) $811
The Embellished Flat
my pick: LOLA from kurtgeiger.com
why: I think this would be a great punch of color to any tee and jeans. These shoes alone could dress up a lot of my outfits. $154
Platform Pumps
my pick: The N.Y.L.A. Extravaganza pump from heels.com
why: I first saw these and thought Valentine's Day. Wouldn't these be fabulous out on the town with your fabulous date? Agreed. $113
Wide Leg Pant
my pick: Seven for All Mankind Wide Leg at Nordstrom
why: I've loved this brand from the beginning. These just look like a fabulous work pant for me. They're dark and definitely have a dressy flare to them. $153
The Pencil Skirt
my pick: this Brocade Pencil Cream Skirt from coggles.com
why: this is unlike any piece I already have. I can already see the fun blouses I'd want to pair with this skirt, and possibly even the ankle boot from above? I might be getting ahead of myself, but this could make a great Easter dress. $122

the one meal of the day
TT and I are sick. Like I'm holding the Pepto in my hand at all times sick. Yesterday I made him this soup and photographed it, simply minutes before I started feeling sick myself. I love my new light blue bowls. Anyway, thanks for the sweet comments, and thank you for reading!

Out with the old (Christmas Tree), and in with the New (Year)!
It always feels so good to get the Christmas tree out of the house. It's opens up so much space it reminds me of cleaning out my closet or something.
I got the idea for this outfit from clothedmuch, Elaine always makes a t-shirt and cardigan go so well together. From the ground up: the shoes are boots from Primark (a blessed London store) for 2pounds, basically $4. The shoes are classic Seven Jeans that I've had for a few years, they have an A stitching on the pockets. *FYI- these jeans are currently at the Costco on 3rd W and 21st S, my friends at work got some and they're soo cute, and better priced*
I always love a good casual t-shirt. This one is one of my favs. Who doesn't love a black sweater? Great birthday present from my dad.
Sweater buttoned or unbuttoned? What do you suggest? Last reason I like this outfit, I feel comfortable! Lastly. Someone please help me with my hair. Any suggestions on how to curl your hair without spending an hour? Thanks!

Light Up My Life
On our first comfy cozy Christmas we hung these lights. Definitely helps make the holidays more official. I love the lights of the season, and recently visited Temple Square to see the famous lights there.
