Feelin' Springay

Well you'll either love this or you'll hate it! And if you hate it, I don't want to know.  I have to thank my dad for this outfit.  I very much appreciate that he cares *and often funds* my clothing needs.  He picked it out for me over spring break last year in Vegas.  I haven't worn these two pieces together until now.  I really do love the jeans, they're a fun length.  And I love having a pair of colored jeans.  At the same time, one pair is plenty.  And the shirt, well it's super comfortable and so fun...WIN! Background look familiar?  Let's just say this is how it has worked the last few days.

Me: Hubs, come hurry and take my picture before I leave
Hubs: Again?? Just kidding, I'd love to.
Me: Where should we take it?
Hubs: You were supposed to leave 2 minutes ago...how about in your car?
Me: Funny. The street?
Hubs: Good Idea

Why is it whenever I'm leaving, he is just walking in the door, and whenever I'm getting home, he is just leaving? A question for another day.

What I'm Wearing:
Shirt: Gap
Jeans: Gap

How would you wear these pants? Rolled up a little or do you like the "hitting at the ankle length" above?  Do you own colored jeans?  I would love some suggestions on how else to wear these pants! Oh, and thanks for the jeans input from below.  I'm going to enlist my mom, aka master seamstress, to help me turn some into shorts/capris/ and maybe something else awesome.

Thanks to Liz and Audrey and Laura for the blog awards!

I love this! I love your colored jeans a lot. Me thinks I need a pair now. I like them rolled up better. Your ankles look super tiny here!!

Lucky you, enjoying the sunshine! I really like the pants rolled up a bit, it is a little boho but still put-together.

Oh, such a cheerful, springtime outfit. I'm very jealous as I'm currently huddling in many layers, plus giant scarf and armwarmers!

I agree with the others, the rolled up look looks brilliant. I'm much too short to pull it off though, you look fab!

i love the yellow, you look great wearing them both ways! i usually wear my colored jeans at the ankle, but they look nice rolled up a little - i think i'm going to try it :)

I love the yellow! So bright and cheery! I think they look good ankle length and also cuffed. They will look great with a white flowy top and some brown sandals in the summer :)

aw thanks for the comment! hmm i would definitely wear those pants at full length. and if it's a lemon-y color like in the pictures, i would try some shades of grey with the outfit. like mix dark charcoals with soft heathers. for sure.

btw i love the red sweater/belted/cowboy boot outfit a couple posts below, you look great in red!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying hey! (ckscorner.blogspot.com)
I am glad someone can get away with colored and skinny pants...neither of which I can. Got to love those thighs of mine! One day maybe...maybe!

Cute yellow pants! I like them rolled as well. How are you liking your hair? Still want to go shorter?

I love the yellow jeans! As to how to style them - if you're wearing them with flats I'd have them rolled down(although you do look cute with them rolled up - it depends on what look you're going for), I'd roll them up and team them with wedges or espadrilles. They'd also look great tucked into long grey boots!

I heart yellow. thank your for being my sunshine on a dreary, snowy, Canadian wintery day.

Wow, those jeans have a great colour! I like to wear my red jeans with a top that has a small amount of red in the pattern, and I bet the yellow would look great with pink.
