False Advertising?

Well, my Elizabeth and James Oxford Boots arrived...but they look nothing like the picture on the website I ordered them from.  Would you agree??  I mean I still love them, but they definitely don't look like what I thought I had ordered.  Has that ever happened to you?  I usually don't buy much online, but I'm beginning to love shopping online.  Its' TOO convenient.

What was delivered to my front door:
The color of my boots are much darker, the toes are much more pointy, and the suede has a lot more texture than appears in the picture below.

The picture on Hautelook.com where I purchased them.
Either way, I still love them.  They're just...different!

yah, they look NOTHING like the photo? the color is SO different. they're still cute, but you should see if they will refund some of your money anyways (and let you keep them!) because you didn't get what you paid for.

They look a completely different shade - have they sent you the right ones or is it just misleading photos on the website?

They are nice though :)

As everyone has said!

It might be worth writing a letter to them and saying how you love them but are a little disapointed about the colour difference. They might give you some vouchers to use.

Still nice boots though!

Hmm. The color is completely different! I like the ones that arrived at your house better, but I can see how that would be disorienting.

I always know exactly what I'm getting because I see my sisters come home with it and know it will be mine as soon as its out of style! I think I may just have to come back and visit your blog more often so I can at least see how the hip and cool are dressing these days, so just in case I get the urge to go buy something new....I'll know where to start!
